When it comes to big games in the playoffs, Buehler turns into a maestro of October, and his dominance on the mound is his Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. Buehler delivered yet another gem of a performance on Saturday to give the Dodgers a commanding 3-0 lead in the World Series and put his team on the edge of their eighth championship in franchise history.
“No one’s done what we’re trying to accomplish ,” said catcher Austin Wells, “so I think if you put too much pressure on it at this point, you’re going to fail yourself, and you’re not going to enjoy the journey. I think seeing what happens and having fun is where we’re at.”
Initially, Game 4 looked like a similar story to the previous few games for the Yankees and Dodgers. In the top of the first, Freddie Freeman continued to stamp his incredible postseason legacy with yet another home run, his sixth straight World Series game with a homer — a new MLB record.
It isn’t time to panic for the Dodgers quite yet, as they did roll out a bullpen game on the road in Game 4. They’ll have another opportunity to close out the World Series, and win their eighth title in franchise history, on Wednesday.
So while they didn’t finish the job Tuesday night and have their hands full with Cole, there’s no denying the Dodgers are still in the driver’s seat as they try to win the World Series for the second time in five seasons and the first time in a full season since 1988.

Alternatively you can choose to drink a potion to clear your board and refill your health, or sharpen your weapon which refunds all your damage cards. These are drawn in a number designated by the attack cards you’ve played. It sounds more complicated than it is in practice, and once you reach the combat phase it’s tense, exciting, and fast-paced, requiring careful resource management and the occasional massive risk to defeat the target. It’s helped by the board artwork really setting the scene and the miniatures themselves, which are highly detailed and representative. Incidentally, the Wildspire Wastes expansion adds several monsters for the Wastes, and four additional Hunters which can be used in the Ancient Forest set.
Preparation actions include: • Walking to an adjacent node • Using a potion to clear your stamina board and restore all your health • Sprint to another node at a cost of one face-down card on your stamina board for each node traversed • Sharpen your weapon which shuffles your damage deck. Combat actions are: • Walk and Spring as above • Play an attack card
The “art” appears to be screen grabs from the video game, looks like your typical fantasy RPG, and is one of my least favorite parts of the game. I don’t have an attachment to the original IP so maybe this will be a plus for some players but, for me, the look is distracting, and I generally don’t like the style of oversized weapons this game features. Meanwhile, the miniatures are good quality, although the light hero color does hide those details. The large dragon mini’s wings are also removable to keep the box size manageable.
